Jamshyd N. Godrej

Jamshyd Godrej is chairman of the board of Godrej & Boyce in Mumbai, India, founded in 1897. He serves as chairperson of the boards of directors of Shakti Sustainable Energy Foundation, India Resources Trust (aka WRI India) Council on Energy, Environment & Water, and CII Sohrabji Godrej Green Business Centre. He is a director of ClimateWorks Foundation and World Resource Institute, and a trustee of WWF India. He is a former president of the Confederation of Indian Industry. In 2003, he was awarded the Padma Bhushan, the third-highest civilian award in India.
