Jade Marcus

Jade Marcus is the CEO and Co-founder of Mafix. Mafix is pioneering the next generation of fertilizers that can enhance yields while also removing CO2 from our atmosphere through a process known as enhanced rock weathering. She graduated summa cum laude with her B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology where she spent time working as a process engineer. After Georgia Tech, she became an Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Co working in the sustainability practice where she became passionate about finding carbon removal solutions that could drive real value beyond just removals. She then attended Stanford where she developed the core technology behind Mafix as she pursued her PhD in Chemical Engineering.
