Brian Deese

Brian Deese is the Co-Founder and CEO of Foundry-Logic, an operating company focused on improving the performance of America’s energy infrastructure. Previously, Deese served as Global Head of Sustainable Investing at BlackRock, where he built and grew the firm’s sustainable investment business to over $100bn of assets under management. Deese also served as Director of the White House National Economic Council (2021-2023), Senior Advisor to the President for Climate and Energy Policy (2015-2016), and Deputy Director of the Office of Management and Budget (2013-2015). Deese currently serves as an Institute Innovation Fellow at MIT and as a member of the Board of Directors of Everview Partners. He is a graduate of Middlebury College and Yale Law School.
